Graphenstone debuts in 'The Country Life Top 100 2025': Celebrating those that create and preserve beautiful houses and gardens
Although many paint manufacturers have moved towards recipes made with more environmentally friendly materials over recent years, Graphenstone still stands out as a leader in the sustainability charge. Writes Amelia Thorpe of the new entry in Country Life magazine Top 100.
Its purifying paints are manufactured from a combination of lime, calcium carbonates and natural materials, fushed with graphene - a non toxic material made from pure carbon, discovered in 2004 by two Nobel Prize winners at Manchester University.

Such credentials make Graphenstone a favourite amongst leading interior designers from Rose Uniacke, to Tim Gosling to Michelle Ogundehin and institutions such as Historic Royal Palaces and The Ashmolean Museum with a range of 16 colours created in collaboration with the Royal Ballet and Opera.
