Knots Rugs launches second Suminagashi Collection - Fleur
Knots Rugs is to launch a second Suminagashi collection – Fleur - using the ancient art of Suminagshi ‘ink floating’ marbling following its successful collection with Margate based artist NatMaks.
The fun floral designs which come in six different colourways are based on original Suminagashi artworks created at NatMaks studio by Knots fine artist founder, Bonnie Sutton – sensitively reinterpreted using a forensic use of colour. Handcrafted in the softest Tibetan wool and highlights of Chinese silk, the use of a cut and loop technique results in an extraordinary depth and texture. Each rug ‘flower’ can be layered as a group or individually –or under a table – available in bespoke sizes – large or small.
Available in Pink, Green, Yellow, Red, Orange, Blue and Red, each Fleur piece is made from 65% Tibetan Wool and 35% Chinese Silk in a 100 Knot quality.
