Matthew Williamson has designed a capsule furniture collection ‘Kaleidoscope’ featuring four new and exclusive hand painted silk textile designs for British furniture brand, ROOME LONDON, which will see the designer’s prints on furniture shapes such as cabinets, screens and sideboards for the first time, launching in February 2021.

The six-piece collection includes a bespoke drinks cabinet, statement chest of drawers, side tables and a decorative screen that displays four exclusive prints which have been created for the collection by the designer from original paintings translated onto luxurious fabric. Inspiration for the print designs were derived from Matthew’s travels, the rugged nature that surrounds his home in Cala Deia, Mallorca and his textile archive, which has been amassed over his successful 20-year design career. The other three designs are Mathew Williamson’s most iconic and popular prints, which have been reimagined in new colours.
